Road Run – 14th April 2024 – Spring Chicken

An early year gentle run in support of the Air Ambulance; through the peaceful & quiet countryside, wending up and down ever narrower muddy, dusty and potholed lanes. Gently brushing aside the burgeoning undergrowth, crossing the odd water feature and trying to avoid deposits from local fauna (and tractors) you may even at times know where you are. This is specifically aimed at the smaller and slower (?) machinery we maintain, with the ideal being no more than 350cc unless side valve or particularly old machinery. Although, as this is a charity run and we are only interested in raising money for the air ambo, we do of course welcome modern bikes too, whilst mentioning the route may not necessarily be suited to, umm, ‘bypass’ tyres or pristine machinery.
