The BATH CLASSIC MOTOR CYCLE CLUB was founded in 1987 by a handful of motorcycle enthusiasts keen to rekindle interest in British bikes in and around the Bath area. Since then the club has catered for a variety of classic bike interests.

After the club was established in 1987 it was a natural progression to incorporate a Road Runs side. This started with one annual organised run but now has a selection of organised runs catering for a variety of bike ages added to the calendar and even the occaisonal weekend event.
Back in 1987, two or three of the original founders had been taking part in Pre-65 demonstrations at modern motocross meetings but could see the need for a club to promote British Bike scrambles and so Bath Classic Motorcycle Club was born.
After the foundation of the club back in 1987, it was a natural progression after scrambles to run classic trials as well. Since then our trials have been well supported, with an average of five trials a year and entries averaging 50/70 riders.
