Bath Classic Motorcycle Club meets on a regular basis at a variety of hostelries around the Bath area for a sociable chat, a glass of Vimto and a sandwich, while comparing the amount of dirt or not playing 'spot the incorrect washer' on our classic steeds. Once a month at the Bath Trades & Labour Club, Green Park we hold a more formal meeting and we even record the minutes for posterity. Occasional guest speakers come along.

What a day ! The rain totally changed sections which had been fine until then,My apologies to riders who struggled,its a difficult thing to judge how hard to mark them.The tarmac for the carpark failed to turn up...... But 83 of us had a go,many thanks to all who turned up and rode,observed,scored or helped push cars out of the field ! I have yet to work out how to alter the weather.(And the new website.....)
I've spoken to Mike today and we will bear in mind how quickly the ground became so slippery for the next time we use this venue.I'm trying to get permission to use the land at a different time of year,but I'm not sure this will be possible.

Road Runs: Lifeboat Run

The Red Lion Odd Down Bath BA2 2UA, 10:00
This run in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Insitution starts at the Red Lion Odd Down Bath BA2 2UA and this year heads down to a Lymington Lifeboat Station.
All bikes of any ages or size (bikes and riders!) are welcome on this run. Entry/minimum donation is £5. Please enter beforehand if possible as we want to close signing on at 10.00 am so we can count the cash for the presentation cheque and get away by 10.30.

Road Runs: Five Horses Run

Three Magpies, Sells Green, Seend, SN12 6RN, 10:00
A gallop around the hills and valleys of Wiltshire playing spot the White Horses. Starts and finishes at the Three Magpies at Sells Green between Melksham & Devizes.
Open to all bikes, the old & slow stuff heads off 1st and anything with brakes, lights and plastic - sorry - the modern stuff heads off 10 minutes later.
Refreshments available at the pub at the start and finish and also where ever we stop midway.
